Miss Indecisive

Huge cave discovered in Vietnam!
This has some relevance to this blog post?

I have recently discovered three things about myself.

  1. My religious ideals correspond to Judaism rather than Christianity.
  2. I love the kind of music that would play in a Target commercial.
  3. There's a possibility I may have made up my mind about my future.
So, of the above epiphanies, I will focus on the latter. Like any other college student, I'm exploring my way out of the socially and conventionally confining box that could be my future. Upon considering what I really enjoy in my life, I worked it down to three...-ish things. In no particular order:
  • Science and Education
  • Music, Theatre, Art (Entertainment) ---- Yes, this is one thing.
  • Traveling and Culture
After considering these things I love, I've decided a possible future 'career'.

Discovery Channel, National Geographic, or (Insert Major TV Network) TV Host Person...thing.

Before you say I'm crazy, too late. I know how far-fetched this idea is, but how amazing does that sound?! I guess why it's called a dream. :)

In the mean time, I am still trying to make it out alive. College is soo not as exciting as people make it out to be. At least at a private liberal arts Lutheran college in southeastern South Dakota. Maybe I just answered my own problem.

But for now, I'm going to go listen to 'Rollerblades' by Eliza Doolittle.
(Insert Target Commerical) :)

When the weather outside is frightful...

This photo does not properly depict the intensity of the storm!

I have been snowed in at my parent's house for the last couple of days due to a massive blizzard that attacked NE South Dakota. Yesterday, I couldn't see across the street - insane!

I personally love blizzards. However, I will be returning to college tomorrow, so I'm kind of hoping it's all better by then.

I have J-term (January Term), so I have one class for four hours a day, five days a week for a month. What's the class? Religion 110. Yes. I guess we'll see how that goes.

Shovel time.

Welcome to the New Year: 2011

Happy New Year!

I kind of can't believe it's 2011 already.

It seems like I was just celebrating the Millennium!

Hopefully this year will be as promising as the last, with many opportunities to come. :)
